I have to admit

By this point, if Bush was President, I'd be going fucking nuts.

And I still kind of am, what is happening to Bradley Manning is heinous.

An "appropriate" response from the military cannot be very convincing when the secy of defense and top general in Afganistant joke about killing 9 boys gathering firewood.
Madness. Wikileaks is merely a study in first amendment rights.

And how. I hope Wikileaks are smart enough to expose corruption without risking their hides.

Possibly Obama is afraid the bullies will make fun of him if he shows weakness.

there was an article the other day about "life after Rahm" changing at the WH... Pres says under R. he was being isolated, Cabinet Secs & staff were bitching about having their input ignored and feeling left out...says Daley is making efforts to change that... but the one thing Obama should have absolutely done and still should do is a thorough house cleaning at the Pentagon, the DOJ, and the other agencies to root out all the Bush stooges... if things are going to change, that's the first step. Otherwise, all information he gets will be information designed to keep the status quo.

But this whole Manning thing is beyond the pale. Is he not getting the f^cking newspaper or reading anything at all about it? He could very well send in someone to personally check conditions, and have a copy of the UCMJ and how they treat prisoners
and the US Constitution for a brush up on the concept of innocent until proven guilty and that little bit about inhumane treatment.

For a constitutional lawyer he's failing miserably.

Obama is worse than Bush, and the outrage needs to be just as loud and vocal.

to say Manning's abuse is "appropriate" is what i gather awaits Obama if he were to admit how low America has become.

Germany had the Nuremburg war trials, i hope we get ours, but i doubt it.

Obama is much worse than Bush is so many ways.
