When blessings come in a Asshole-shaped package

That horrendous Hank Williams Jr. song is off Monday Night Football for now, thanks to the horrendous Hank Williams, Jr.

It seems Hank got caught in a battle of wits with the crew from Fox & Friends, and when four unarmed people are in a battle there are no winners.  Well, we win, as that awful song won't be played.

Why is it the talented ones always drink themselves to death so their untalented offspring can write awful songs about them?

But the real point is this, other than describing Hank Jr. as an idiot, I really don't see the point of repercussions other than mockery (oh, not hearing that song is a nice bonus though).

Compare this to the reaction of the right-wing to the Dixie Chicks several years ago.

Apparently, his name is really Randall, but to better trade in on his father's fame, he calls himself "Hank Williams, Jr."

Can anyone verify this?

Wikipedia can.

No reason to banhammer Bocephus. The NFL should let their freak flag fly. Paying workers to smash and grind each other into brain damaged pulp for the diversion and amusement of the 1% every Sunday is what they do. And they do see anyone who gets in their way as their enemy. Randall's just spouting the corporate line.

And according to the NFL and Bocephus, black men should stick with football. Those smart ones? They're the enemy.

Of course, Randall will learn nothing from this incident- he'll contrive new conspiracies and victimhood notions to rationalize everything.

Man, these people are messed up.

Sorry, methinks Hank Jr is going to fade into obscurity. He's been a worthless drunk all along.

Bocephus is definitely Audrey's son, but anyone who has seen, and heard Hank's posthumously acknowledged daughter Jett Williams has to wonder at the boy's paternity
