Sounds like Pat Robertson better get his prayin' shoes on (or perhaps just his weightlifting ones)...while as usual all he'll get is static.
Look, I'm not going to make jokes about Hurricanes, noting the irony of this threatening the GOP convention comes at the expense of things sucking for the rest of the people that live in the area. So I won't do so.
At least publicly.

An abbreviated convention would be a godsend for Mitt. It keeps the crazies in the closet.
In your guts, you know they're nuts. There's still time.
Hurricanes basically suck for the 99%. The 1% has the service board things up, and then goes on vacation. After they come back, any damage is adjusted and repaired by the insurance company before they move back. The poors, on the other hand, get out if they can afford to, ride it out in a public shelter if they can't, and see their houses and apartments washed away before their eyes.
Of course, the GOP is planning on ruining them, too.
