Oh Tucker Carlson, must you fail so spectacularly at everything?

A top Dominican law enforcement official said Friday that a local lawyer has reported being paid by someone claiming to work for the conservative Web site the Daily Caller to find prostitutes who would lie and say they had sex for money with Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.). The lawyer told Dominican investigators that a foreign man, who identified himself as “Carlos,” had offered him $5,000 to find and pay women in the Caribbean nation willing to make the claims about Menendez, according to Jose Antonio Polanco, district attorney for the La Romana region, where the investigation is being conducted. The Daily Caller issued a statement Friday saying that the information allegedly provided by the Dominican lawyer, Melanio Figueroa, was false.
Which, of course, contrasts with their original story which they claimed was "totally true".

There's nobody to shame into firing him. The lies will only stop if and when he runs out of TeeVee dinner money, or when he notices no one's listening.

With a name like Tucker, it has to be good.

[Apologies to the J.M. Smucker Company.]

It wouldn't surprise me if "Carlos" was Tucker himself...maybe even with a cheesy mustache and Hawaiian shirt, sort of a peckerwood Estevan Colbert.

I think it was an Atlantic magazine blog saying that they'd found a conversation between Fucker Carlson and the guy who discovered Sen. Vitter's name in the DC Madam's customer list, and Carlson was practically hyperventilating about how disclosing the information was the lowest form of journalism, how unfair it was to Vitter, how unnecessarily damaging and intrusive the disclosure was, how it harmed Vitter's reputation, etc.

So, quite apparent that ol' Fucker'll do and say anything for partisan advantage.
