And while I saw it when it first came out, I have to tell all you literate, music loving Hegemonians that this film still holds up really well even though the film came out in 1984. I laughed so hard that I hurt.
What is it about this send up of heavy metal, the recording industry, and bad music that continues to work so well? Is it the acting? Christopher Guest, Harry Shearer, and Michael McKean are brilliant in it! Of course, it had more memorable lines that most films.
How many of you have seen this movie? What did you think?
