Okay, yes, if Karl Rove INTENTIONALLY outed Valerie Plame as a CIA Operative then he's a scumbag traitor.

BUT

Since we say he did NOT know and did not say specifically "Valerie Plame", but "Joe Wilson's Wife", then he's a great guy, who is simply helping Dear Leader fight the liberal evildoers.


Now, how much Fitzgerald has, I don't know, but he at least has evidence that Rove used Wilson's wife, Valerie Plame (using the words "Joe Wilson's Wife" -- c'mon how hard is that to fucking figure out? Might as well have just given the name) and the basic outlines of what she did for the CIA.

Who possibly can justify this as not being a scumbag?

If an American soldier intentionally gives out a battle plan to the enemy, he's a traitor; but if he throws it on the ground and runs away after making sure they notice he tossed something on the ground -- knowing the enemy will probably pick it up (but they also might just not) suddenly he is a "great guy"?

At a MINIMUM the latter is what Karl Rove is.

C'mon!

I've stated once or twice on this blog, that I think many conservatives would choose perpetual rule by Republicans rather than continue to have a democracy where the other side might win on occasion. I think the evidence of that is becoming stronger all the time.
