President Empty Suit

Yes, all hail bold leader finally noticing that the United States (thanks to him) is woefully behind Europe on the Bird Flu. So he goes out and proposes $7.1 Billion in spending upon the project and acts (with the medias cooperation) as if he just invented the jelly doughnut.

Problem is:

The president's request is similar to a $7.9 billion supplemental appropriation for flu pandemic planning assembled by Democratic leaders and passed last week by the Senate.

Is it any wonder he is at 35% approval -- hey media, the citizenry is ahead of you again.
