The Simpson's are Renewed for 20th Season

While not as consistent as the past couple of years, the show certainly deserves another season.  This ties with the long running western, Gunsmoke (anyone else remember this show?), as the longest running show on night time television.  Daytime is a completely different world.

Am I alone in thinking that the show became excellent when the writer's realized that Homer was the central figure and not Bart? And of course, we all see that Bush's entire political framework is premised on his Homer Simpson view of the world... (with apologies to Homer).
