Why bother when it's already been written for you?

As mentioned below, some conservatives are going the Fundamentalists one better and just re-writing the Bible to get rid of all that commie-lib stuff like forgiveness, charity, and turning the other cheek.

I do hope they remember when they get to the New Testament, Al Franken (now known as the Hon. Al Franken beyathchez!) already did the heavy-lifting.
