Usually when I think of someone penning their "Memoir" I think of somebody that has actually been in a position to write one. Even George W. Bush, while apparently only functionally literate, has been in a position to write a Memoir.

Umm, well, she's lost something like three major elections in a row, so, maybe she does have something to say--in the way of warning other politicians not to do what she's done, since she obviously can't learn from her own mistakes.
I'm still amazed that a formerly reputable press like St. Martins would even consider a manuscript from her. But, she probably begged and pleaded with them, saying that she's going to need the money from the advance to pay the IRS fines for the money she took from her campaign as income....
publisher looking for a quick buck. just hope he 15 min are already up and they lose big.
