I am the co-habitant of a four legged fuzz ball that has from time-to-time been featured on this here blog. She's a good ol' mutt who is now over 14 years old -- this weekend she tore her ACL -- ending her season on whatever NFL team a 25-pound long-haired Border/Gordon mix would play for.
She's getting better, but it must be tough to have to give up jumping after all these years.

Sorry to hear about the injury, but hope she has a speedy recovery.
Who's a good dog?
Am guessing she's probably heard that...more times than she can count.
What a sweet, beautiful face! Sorry to hear about the injury, though. Our foxhound beagle mix Wendy is over thirteen and she seems to be slowing down, too. Her vision is getting cloudy, but she can still hear me unwrap a slice of cheese two rooms away!
Hope that sweet furball gets better soon.
she seems happy w/ retirement.

Give her some steroids and painkillers and send 'er back out there. That's the NFL way.
Poor sweet doggie. Hope she recovers soon.
If only some Mexican-restaurant-basement-dwelling jackasses could be as sweet-natured as this fine example of canine pulchritude.
so sorry to hear this! Our best wishes to her for a speedy recovery from Dr. J and Mrs. Dr. J!
I don't see the remote but at least she has reading material...dogspeed on the recovery!
hang in there old girl. there's been an athlete in our family who tore her acl many moons ago -big adorable malamute / golden cross - and she still outran me when she'd get out the door... all the way to grandma's house on a merry chase. she lived with it for another 6-8 yrs.
keep her pain free. give her lots of lovin.

I still have dreams about my running and jumping years. When I do, I envision me laying on my side with all 4 paws twitching and my lips trembling as I softly woof woof.
Oh, that's a nice dog right there. Here's hopes and prayers for a speedy recovery, from me and the furry ones at our house.

Her effective backyard stats are second to none. Well earned retirement.
