"But but, what about our national bombing plan?!"

Oh dear, first we postpone one bombing and now we may have to give up on the biggest neo-Conservative wet-dream of them all.

Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has given the clearest signal yet that the country's newly elected president and moderate cleric, Hassan Rouhani, has the authority to conduct direct talks with the US and offer compromises in nuclear talks.
I dunno if Bill Kristol, John McCain, or David Ignatius will be able to stand it...the public getting more of this whole non-war policy it seems to favor so sensibly. [cross-posted at Firedoglake]

Patience, our President may yet find a path to compromise. It’s what he does.

Kristol, McCain, Elliot Abrams, Dan Senor, "Jerusalem Jenny" Rubin, Midge Decter, Frank Gaffney, Norman Podhoretz - all on suicide watch.

Oh, hell, give `em time. They'll find a way to start a war out of this. It's what they do.

There, there: there will always be some little wiener country the neocons can throw against a wall, if need be.
