Most projectionist projection of all projections

I'd call it performance art, but that requires at least a modicum of talent.

In an interview Wednesday shortly after his 21-hour talkathon to defund Obamacare had come to an end, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) lamented to shock jock Rush Limbaugh that too many lawmakers think their constituents are naive.

"They think their voters are gullible rubes," Cruz said in the radio interview.

And then they hit the cough button had a good laugh and muttered "thank goodness".

If Tailgunner Ted ever meets his voters (as opposed to his two Kochstituents), they are very likely to be birther black helicopter chemtrail truther End Times voters.

So, maybe the quote was mistranscribed? Perhaps it should read:
"They think THEIR voters are gullible rubes?"

"In speaking for 21 hours, Cruz ...fell short of the longest filibuster in history held by Sen. Strom Thurmond of South Carolina, which lasted 24 hours and 18 minutes."

Not enough hate, I guess.
