Rising Hegemon
Let me get this straight. We have a firefight in the Sunni areas of Baghdad going on, closer to the Green Zone then ever. Leading the charge are Shiia militias, er, I mean, the Iraqi Army and per the plan we have now come in with American assistance. Yet there is no real plan, or means to clear out Sadr City or the Mahdi Army.
When does Iran take over the embassy we've built?
Notice the language in CNN's story.
Sunni = Insurgent
Shiia = Iraqi Army
That sounds like a plan for that stable government if your say, Ayatollah Khamenei, currently celebrating his continued non-death.
