Nope, our leaders sure do not!
There are million refugees from Iraq (some reports say six, some say three -- still a large number of people, either way). Since the beginning of the war, the good ol United States government has only taken in 300 of them. That's it.
What is that you say, K. Lo. That is still better than nothing, no? Meeka thinks any number we take in shows our wonderful American values.
I wonder how many Britain has taken in and sheltered? More than us. You betcha.
