No End In Sight

Other bloggers including our esteemed leader here have already reviewed the film, but let me throw in here and tell you if you haven't seen it, and it is showing anywhere near you, take a friend. No End in Sight hits the mark without preaching and highlights the incompetence of the Bush administration without attacking. Charles Ferguson has left the snarky film-making to those who do it well and in this film surgically dismantles the planning for post-war Iraq. Bush, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Wolfowicz, and Rice come off like the keystone cops they really are. If not for the tragedy that has unfolded as a result of the incompetence the film would be amusing. Of course it is difficult to do anything but shake your head and weep.
