Floridians move their education into the 2oth Century

Florida’s state board of education today approved science standards that for the first time refer specifically to the theory of evolution, and give what many supporters say is a more coherent and concise treatment to important topics across science.

Now, isn't that special?  Of course, the language of the standard is that evolution is a theory that continues to generate controversy and be debated.  Hmmm... I thought that the scientific community put this idea to rest a long time ago.
