A section of Orly Taitz's response to the court's threat of sanctions in her latest nutty case:
For example, on page 6 of the Court’s September 18, 2009 order, Judge Land refers again to the undersigned counsel as “a leader in the so-called “birther movement.”” (Footnote 4). Since the undersigned certainly did not invent or ever adopt the term “birther”, awareness of this label is a pejorative appellation (often coupled with even more colorful epithets such as “batshit crazy”)
She goes on to accuse this Bush appointee as being pretty much a Klansman.
Yeah, it's about that level of logic all the way through.
I have to say it's several pages of nutty and nonsense citations. It's written in a parallel bizarro universe of legal writing. So at the very least it's entertaining.
It's also contempt and ol' Orly is looking at a nice big sanction, the loss of her license, and possibly some jail time.
