A gunman shot and killed a school bus driver in Midland City, Ala., Tuesday afternoon and escaped the scene with a 6-year-old passenger, which has prompted a hostage situation that is still going on this morning.Underground bunker?
The suspected gunman is identified as Jimmy Lee Dykes, a 60-something military veteran, a police source told ABC News. Dykes and the child are in an underground bunker behind his home.

I'm surprised he's got a home and doesn't just live full time in the bunker. Because nothing says freedom quite like windowless, reinforced concrete (presumably) holes in the ground, with only the finest canned foods and bottled water.

You know what would REALLY help protect We The People from the Soviet Muslim Kenyan tyranny that we are heading toward....already be oppressed by? Small tactical nuclear arms. I think it would be awesome to own, let's say, a Vaporizer N-15, and I would keep it in a proper safe and take special training and all. And I'd only take it out of the safe and arm it to show it off or to protect We The People or even save the USA from N. Korea. I'm not sure if I support open carry though.
I suppose some would argue that for the sake of a civilized society that this is not a good idea. But really, if you take nukes away from good, God fearing and law abiding citizens, then only criminals and dictators and terrorists will have them. That sounds exactly like what Hitler and Stalin or, of course, The Supreme Czar Caliph Obama Hussein would want.
And I'd add, the Constitution does nothing to abridge my right to own and bear arms!
