Hey, I just remembered

I'm a lawyer AND I'm in Iowa these folks have a hell of a case under Iowa Code Chapter 91A.

To "nit"wit:

Representative Michele Bachmann (R-MN), former presidential candidate and a leader of the Tea Party Caucus in the House of Representatives in Washington, has yet to pay some of her Iowa presidential campaign staff after one year and in spite of the fact that over $2,000,000* sits in bank accounts at her disposal.

...

Dr. Peter Waldron, Bachmann for President National Field Coordinator, explained it this way, "Recently Mr. Pollack demanded that each unpaid staff member sign a non-disclosure agreement that prohibits any discussion of any criminal, moral, and/or unethical behavior witnessed during Mrs. Bachmann's campaign in Iowa. In fact, Mr. Pollack insists that each staffer not speak to law enforcement and/or lawyers without first speaking with Mrs. Bachmann's attorneys."

I'm sure "God" told her to screw 'em.

"It is sobering to think that a Christian member of Congress would betray her testimony to the Lord and the public by withholding earned wages from deserving staff," Dr. Waldron concluded.

Republican. Family. Values.

Sorry to be a broken record (was going to say the kids these days probably don't know the term, but I think for some records are charmingly "retro"); anyway, to raise the same point I made in a comment yesterday, imagine the media feeding frenzy if it was a Democratic candidate stiffing the staff.

Deluded little people who supported an authoritarian Repuke thinking they were pets rather than livestock, take #485213.

Class action suit, to include damages and costs.

The only way to keep people like One-L from fucking you is to make them wish they never had tried.

Beside that, the more money these unpaid people recover, the less money Bachmann has to mount yet another assault on the sanity of the American public.

Hmmmm.... could this possibly be related to rumors I've heard about Bachmann's husband, who is reputed to be one of those closet cases so often found in Bible-thumpin' homes?

Or perhaps if Michelle isnt getting any action at home perhaps she's been known to stray from time to time?

It's irresponsible NOT to speculate!

Well, it seems inevitable that if these workers give up on ever being paid, one of them is going to blab to the tabs...

Pass the popcorn, please.
