Congress' most inveterate racist is not just aware he's a malevolent force - no,
Steve King revels in it.
King drew significant attention Tuesday for
remarks he made to Newsmax about Dreamers, young undocumented immigrants
who entered the U.S. as children. The ardent opponent of comprehensive
immigration reform said many Dreamers "weigh 130 pounds and they’ve got
calves the size of cantaloupes because they're hauling 75 pounds of
marijuana across the desert."
This caused great consternation
amongst the GOP leadership who cannot abide such thoughts...at least when they are
expressed so overtly.
But when it comes to stupid, no among is too much stupid for
Iowa's Shame.
Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) defended his shocking
accusations that young, undocumented immigrants in America -- commonly
referred to as Dreamers -- are actively engaged in the drug trade.

Steve King shouldn’t apologize for obsessing about the limbs of Hispanic boys. It’s who Republicans are, it’s what they do.
But cantaloupes? This sounds like a violation of Rule 34.
pup or sideshow tent?
I think Steve King's ambition in life is to be known as Iowa's Looney Louie.
He's certainly working overtime on that reputation.
