Not a Change for the Better

Flipping around the channels and what do I see at this moment but C-SPAN playing Gerald Ford's First Press Conference, August 24, 1974.

Ford, who was never known as a genius, is handling each and every question given to him by the press corps (which includes a thin, stupid looking Mort Kondrake) with great dexterity and detail.

Our current leader rolls his eyes, looks up at nothing, rolls his shoulders and stammers when asked to name a single error he has ever made.

Sad isn't it?
