A Troubling Section in the O'Reilly Factor for Kids*

page 73, Chapter 5:

"I think it is important for you, as a young person, to be comfortable in your body, to have a good self-image. The best way to have a good self-image is to like the way you look.

And that is why I am here to help you kids, especially you young girls.

There are far too many pressures on young girls to be ashamed that their bodies are not attractive. These produce great pressures on young women. Not eating (called "anorexia") and forced vomiting (called "bulemia") are rapant with girls today. I want you teenage girls to feel comfortable in your bodies. And you, in turn, need someone to trust in telling you to not be ashamed, that you are, in fact, an attractive, promising young woman in the full-flower of youth.

That's why I'm suggesting that you, young ladies, between 13 and 17 contact "Uncle Bill" to let him tell you the truth. I want you to take a picture of yourselves -- no not naked -- that would be wrong. I want you to take a picture of yourselves in your underwear -- bra and panties please -- and send it to the following address:

Uncle Bill O'Reilly
Young Ladies Morale Boost
c/o Fox News "The O'Reilly Factor"
New York, New York

Send this picture, along with a phone number, and Uncle Bill will get back to you to let you know that you are, in fact, attractive, and the I am thinking of you. Oh so very much.

No fat chicks."

*for those of you not particularly bright, or in the NewsCorp. legal department (same difference?) this is called satire.
