Oh, be still my guffawing heart

It is to laugh.

Saturday 150,000 to 250,000 proud Americans (and yes, ANSWER) showed up to protest the War in Iraq.


But the right-wing was quite sure they'd get literally thousands to respond on Sunday, 20 thousand in fact.

They got 400.

Here's the veritable throng:


If each pitched in $1.50 they would have donated the exact sum that Bush's special "Rebuild Iraq" charity has raised.

I should add though that Ken Blackwell announced the total as 400,000. That may explain Ohio.
