On college football player Marcus Vick that is. See, here's the rule: if "the news" is about BushCo lies about Iraq (we're winning, the insurgency is dying, etc.), then NPR is happy to just parrot administration mouthpieces, never challenging the spin with fact. Today on "All Things Considered" the report that football player Marcus Vick had been supsended from the West Virginia football program after engaging in, among other things, being a bad sport by stepping on an opposing player's leg during the Gator Bowl. ATC reported that Vick said it was an accident. ATC: "the videotape did not corroborate his story."
You think we can get a "the facts on the ground do not support the spin coming out of the White House"? Even once? I didn't think so.
Pathetic. At least NPR is hard-hitting on college football stars.
