That may be the best, and practically only good, news from last night. Do you think maybe the Dems will figure out that "running to the right" is a losing strategy? Me neither.

I think it's time to adopt the Republican strategy of "making shit up". Just lie about everything. Lie about what you're going to do, what you're doing, and what you've done. Evidently, much of the electorate is so apathetic that they can't be troubled to wonder about some of the outrageous claims of the Republicans.
Wait a minute. Weren't we supposed to see Gitmo closed? Weren't we supposed to be done with "Don't Ask Don't Tell?" Weren't we supposed to have real health care reform? Weren't we supposed to have made some progress to fight global warming? Looks like they've already figured out that aspect of the Republicans' game plan.

Much of the electorate has the attention span of a gnat and cannot remember what they had for lunch, let alone what some politician promised 2 years ago.
blow up things. piss em off. be a freedom fighter, it led to the presidency of Brazil for their newly elected lady prez. We just don't have the money to buy elections. vox
midterm is like sunday teevee. it's fr the returds. look to 2012. think the GOP knows to fix things in 2 years? expect an even bigger landslide. more supremes. more sanity.
