Like, um, bailing out Wall Street, and passing health reform that'll force us all to buy private health insurance, and ramping up the war in Afghanistan, and such like!
Personally, I'd love to see a primary challenge. It'd be good theater. The candidates can all talk about all the great progressive stuff they're going to do, and we can all nod our heads seriously, and then laugh, and laugh, and laugh!
ARRRGGGGHHHH! I hope that the "professional left" is pleased with a conservative democrat primary opponent. They thought Obama didn't go far enough. Bayh would help the Republicans repeal everything that has been accomplished. This just sucks!!
Alternatively, such a challenge would allow Obama to run on a more liberal agenda as a contrast to the nakedly corporate Bayh. Obama would have the opportunity to be genuinely deferential to his most zealous supporters, which would invariably increase his popularity. Let Bayh follow the other Blue Dogs to ignominy.
Well, speaking of Dumbya. Turns out he was an antiwar peacenic that actually lobbied himself against invading Iraq - "I was a dissenting voice." The Dissenter v. The Decider. The epic telling of the gripping story of one President's monumental struggle against confusion.

I wonder if he lobbied against fast moving clouds too?
