Moments ago, Carbonite – a company providing backup software for computers – announced that it will no longer advertise on Rush Limbaugh’s show. CEO David Friend made clear in a Facebook statement that, despite Limbaugh’s “apology” issued tonight, the company was still pulling its ads...Limbaugh has several million devoted listeners, and they are his greek chorus. But there are many times the number of his listeners who think of him as a vile-pig. Ultimately, if you are associated with a vile pig, the public at large is going to think less of you. But, as in this whole matter, Republican politicians do not know how to react. Their default position is to kiss his gigantic physical and metaphorical ass.
No one with daughters the age of Sandra Fluke, and I have two, could possibly abide the insult and abuse heaped upon this courageous and well-intentioned young lady. Mr. Limbaugh, with his highly personal attacks on Miss Fluke, overstepped any reasonable bounds of decency. Even though Mr. Limbaugh has now issued an apology, we have nonetheless decided to withdraw our advertising from his show. We hope that our action, along with the other advertisers who have already withdrawn their ads, will ultimately contribute to a more civilized public discourse.

20 plus years of offensive behavior and a non-apologetic apology are not going to cut it for most...because most already figured out this guy's act a long time ago. You can get away with it, until you become associated with him:

Advertisers are waking up tho the fact that, while Rush has a large, rabidly loyal fan base, he is the most hated public commentator in America. Even most conservatives hate him.

Today in the Sunday newspaper, there is a full-page ad for a local radio station, with large pictures of Rush and Hannity.

What other medicines, medical products, procedures will a wingnut come up with to disaprove if they win on this issue? Have these jagoffs EVER stopped after winning? There will be no stopping them until only old, wealthy white men can visit a doctor.

It's not just daughters mon frére, think sisters and mothers, also too. Rush, the growth that pilonidal cysts around the planet dread, has essentially passed judgement on women across the land and across the political spectrum as being sluts, whores, and prostitutes.
i doubt he has that many.
