The House Natural Resources Committee will likely approve legislation Wednesday that would name 3.4 million square nautical miles of ocean and thousands of miles of coastline after the late President Ronald Reagan. Rep. Darrell Issa’s (R-Calif.) legislation would rename the country’s Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), which generally extends from three miles to 200 miles offshore, as the Ronald Wilson Reagan Exclusive Economic Zone.Who better to name that after? Other than pretty much everyone.
But hey, look at those Republicans in Congress...passing "important" legislation.

The next time BP has a big blowout, we can truly tell the poor poisoned souls in its wake the disaster came from the Reagan Zone.
Think of the seven or eight jobs that would be created for several weeks designing and printing the signs. It's an economic powerhouse waiting to happen.
Issa can bite me.
In fact, Reagan can bite me.
If he can find his way out of his coffin first.
Here's a counter-proposal. We name the Gulf of Mexico dead zone after Reagan. The Zombie Reagan Dead Zone.
Nice ring to it.
I was going to suggest naming the Pacific Ocean garbage patch after him, but Zombie Reagan Dead Zone is much more suited. Thanks.
what a fan boy.
3 to 200 miles offshore is where the shit settles from sewage water run-off, so that's perfect for Reagan.
And we would all be better served if we removed the Reagan name from the public domain.
