Well...why not?

It takes all kinds to round out a truly insane Party.

Jaxine Bubis, one of the Colorado Republicans looking to face off against state Senate President John Morse (D) this fall, wrote an erotic novel published in 2004 under a pseudonym, according to The Denver Post.

In a statement to the Post sent Thursday, Bubis acknowledged writing a novel called "Beantown Heat," published by eXtasy Books, under the pen name Jaxine Daniels.

While I'm not normally big on cutting GOPers some slack, it does seem to be warranted in this case... unless this candidate feels the need to denigrate others for their sexuality, in which case all bets are off.

*********

plus as Bill Maher says, why don't Republicans take up legalizing pot as an issue?

if Republicans would do cool stuff like writing porn books and smoking pot, they might really improve their image with the younger demographic...

Luckily they are not smart enough to even consider such things..

Look at that cover. If that first generation Korean Animation screencap is indicative of the writing quality...

Clever choice of pen name. I can't believe that using Jaxine "Davis" didn't throw them off the trail completely.
