Irony

Pasty A Pasty-esque Guestblogger:

By the way, weren’t we all taught as kids to learn what’s right and to persevere through hardships and instant gratification to see that right is done rather than seeking to establish our self worth and integrity via the approval of those who have nothing to offer us but temporal popularity? Especially when the morality of those offering this fleeting esteem building puffery is highly questionable. Honestly, it is the kowtowing of a senior statesman like Colin Powell to the will of an international community that frankly does not share our values that I find so dreadfully depressing.

This argument about the meaning of right or wrong is made with the intent of supporting torturing people.

UPDATE: Thanks to the Kenosha Kid for letting me know it wasn't actually the Paste Eater himself but a guestblogger Charles Austin who made the post. My apologies for going all Brendan Nyhan.
