The 300

Backing up what I mentioned recently on Victor Davis Hanson's pre-viewing masturbation of "The 300", Ther's mentions the post-viewing (the part where Hanson's has a cigarette and spoons his copy of Herodotus).

Not surprisingly, this alleged historian, manages to take a movie that has little reality to it (and more power to it, it IS a movie) with regard to the ACTUAL historical event it represents, and turns it into a meaningful history lesson to the present clusterfuck he loves so very, very, very much.
