I learned everything I know about football from
Attaturk's Trusty NFL Picks and from growing up with a father who reminded me, at certain key moments, of Bill Parcells, which is to say, I know enough to know what I don't know, but last night I watched
Big Fan, which is about football (specifically, Giants) fans and I'm here to recommend it, even though I was really disturbed by the whole thing.
Here's Roger Ebert's review of the movie. I found "Big Fan" almost painful to watch, and not just because it kept reminding me of
The King of Comedy. Check it out this weekend between bursts of football trash-talking.
