It's Not Always Idiocy

Sometimes it is just mendacity.

Some folks think this is another maloprop by Bush, but rather it is part of his standard stump speech.

Bush also said high taxes on the rich are a failed strategy because "the really rich people figure out how to dodge taxes anyway."


This raises many issues both of logic, and ethics.

First, maybe somebody should just propose closing the damn loopholes. Oh, wait, Kerry has.

Second, if Rich people DODGE taxes anyway, what is the point of cutting their taxes genius?

Logical fallacy, thy name is Dubya.
