That I can say it is really nice that so many white people take the time to overplay stories of rape and looting; talk about how the stranded of New Orleans are substantially on public assistance and lack initiative; and add that they must be much better off three hundred plus miles away in another dome where the toilets flush than they were before the flood waters deluged the bayou.

Yes, it is just great that for almost 1/5th of our history we have purportedly treated African-Americans as better than 3/5ths of a person. We white people really have to pat ourselves on the back over the great ability of so many to be unbelievably patronizing bigots.
