Scent of a Pony

Holden has a good schtick going, what with a pony being promised every time "Dear Leaker" gets at or below 40% approval.

Meanwhile, Attaturk doesn't get any props for his proposal of a free "Barbie Dream House" for the same statistical result. No, all I get are emails saying "that's quite disturbing."

No it isn't.

Look, I consider myself a fairly manly man, but those Barbie Dream Houses are fookin' awesome! I defy you to disagree.

Oh, it makes me mad I tells ya!

Where was I?

Oh, yes. In what has become a consistent trend, even FoxNews says that the Preznit is dropping in the polls faster than Karl Rove's kidney stone. By the way, Mr. President, I encourage you to remind Karl constantly that you in fact can go to the bathroom anytime you please.

Fewer adults in the United States express satisfaction with George W. Bush, according to a poll by Opinion Dynamics released by Fox News. 51 per cent of respondents disapprove of the president’s performance.

Bush—a Republican—earned a second four-year term in the November 2004 presidential election. The current approval rating of 41 per cent is the lowest for the sitting head of state in a national Opinion Dynamics/Fox News poll. Bush had his best showing in November 2001, with an approval rating of 88 per cent.

Earlier this month, Bush also registered all-time lows in surveys released by the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press, Zogby International, Ipsos-Public Affairs/Associated Press, Newsweek, Hart/McInturff/Wall Street Journal/NBC News, TNS/Washington Post/ABC News and New York Times/CBS News.
