What if Bush Falls?

Bringing Bush down means constitutionally speaking that Cheney replaces him. When Nixon went, his VP had been sent away for theft or some such, leaving it to the third-in-line, Gerald Ford, the speaker of the House. Tom DeLay for president, anyone?

Judith Miller, rightwing mouthpiece that she is, is currently sitting in jail due to her declared use of "a journalist's obligation to protect whistleblowing sources" in order to protect said source of her information concerning who committed Treason. By Outing an undercover CIA operative and thereby, not ONLY destroying a 20 year old CIA operation used worldwide to remove WMD's of all kinds from the blackmarket, but also damaging the ability of ALL of our Intelligence Gathering Agencies' ability to conduct their work due to decreased trust by foreign nationals.

Miller is sitting in jail right now (I wonder where that will go on her resume?), rather than name Karl Rove or Cheney's Chief of Staff, Scooter Libbey or maybe even the Dick himself. Of course, both have already been named by another reporter as well as Bob Novak, the spineless Rightwing Mouthpiece who spilled his guts to the indicated Grand Jury over a year ago.

And who incidentally, also named Judith and another reporter as having similar information for articles they 'were planning to write' but then never did... which led to their own subpoenaes and questions for information. I wonder what was in these unpublished articles?

Tom Delay is currently under investigation by at least one and probably more legal entities for numerous ethical as well as criminal transgressions with longtime goodfella Jack Abramoff, who just recently was indited for an attempt to defraud in investor in a scheme to buy several cruise ships which may cause him to sing like a canary concerning his dealings with Delay and others.

Senator Frist is now widely known as the Doctor turned Senator who told people on national television broadcasts that Terri Schiavo could be 'saved'.. after viewing some video tape of her. And then her subsequent death and autopsy, by a well regarded coroner, revealed that her brain had been almost completely liquefied long before her death. I guess he's not getting very far with the sensible voters, is he?

If these investigations suddenly pick up speed, possibly due to unblocking of formerly blocked procedural avenues due to the shock and awe caused by the corporate media's sudden lifting of the veil on events in the gulf coast, we may have a whole flock of canaries trying to out-sing each other and give us a clean sweep at the top.

Which makes it possible, maybe, to begin sweeping out both houses of congress.
