Collteral Damage

I will not accept the proposition quoted by the mental midget David Brooks and those like him, apologists for the worst administration in history, that if we don't allow strip searches of children that drug dealers will use them as mules to hide their drugs. How's that for logic?

This issue, like warrantless wiretaps, is one that cannot be let go. If this is ground zero on the clash between Democratic and Republican values then I say let the battle begin. But let's stop talking about warrantless wiretaps and start talking about illegal searches. Let's stop talking about "conservative" values and start talking about big government values. Let's start talking about a police state and curfews. Let's make sure people understand that when they can strip search your child, when they can wiretap your phone without a warrant, they can just walk right into your home in the middle of the night just to scare the shit out of you and see what they can find. We may as well be living in Baghdad.

And given this administration's record, do you think we can trust them? You can almost smell the gunpowder now.
