Banned Words of 2011™: First Pass

Because it's never too early to put the world on notice...
  1. Frenemies: Simply because of this.
  2. Social Media: It didn't make the final cut 2009 Final Cut, but it should have, because I am sick to death of it.
  3. Sexting. And on a related note, I don't know who Robert Wright is, but whether or not you want Tiger Woods to win the Masters is not a moral litmus test. Get a grip. I hope Tiger does win, though, because if he does, maybe some of you idiots will stop writing about sexting and sex addiction and go back to fawning over Tiger like you did before.
  4. Obamabot: Time to move on (dot org).

As always, add your suggestions in comments, please.

1. Sarah Palin. Period. All instances, all contexts.
2. John McCain. All instances, all contexts.
3. Lindsay Graham. Utter obliteration from the zeitgeist is required.
4. Joe Lieberman. Into the void. Forever.
5. Obama. Sick of his Repug- and big business-hugging horseshit.
6. Tea Party. Makes my stomach curdle.
7. Hutaree. Stupid fucking name. Call `em what they are--terrorists.

This should have been banned in the 70s-- "...in any way, shape or form." Holy overkill.

That reminds me... have you heard about that new drug from Pfizer, "Tiagara"?

No?

Well, it's so powerful that you can play a full eighteen holes...

"common sense solutions" - when blathered from the mouth of Palin and her ilk it becomes an oxymoron.

I don't know if your "Banned Words" has been a successful campaign or not; but the other day I thought of a word I have not heard in over a year - "CRAWFORD!"

I wonder why?

Dr. Turk, can you take credit for that one?
