Future Tom Friedman Column Beginning

The other day in, oh, um, Tel Aviv, yah, that's it Tel Aviv, I got into a cab driven by a man named, ah, um...Isaac, yes, that's it Isaac, that's a common jewish name.

Isaac said, "Boy the world sure is both complicated and simple at the same time and you Americans need to understand it better. I sure hope some American Columnist will say that, and put their words into my mouth."

I told Isaac, it was Isaac, I'm sure of it, that he was right and hopefully that would happen.

He took me to my hotel and we went in and had some Daiquiris together.
