There's general trend in Latin America that Hispanics are drifting out of Catholicism to the evangelicals, particularly the Pentacostals.
I have the feeling that Archbishop Gomez will be hastening that process among the Hispanics in L.A.
I wonder if he has ties to Marciel's Legion of Christ, too?
