(Although I will say that I think Rich is (a) overrated; (b) no friend of liberals; and (c) stretching a bit in his efforts to link politics with popular culture these days, e.g., did you see his "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" column?).
While Res Ipsa Loquitur is no psycho killer, I feel she shows no compassion when it comes to Frank Rich. She seems to feel he is on the road to nowhere and has decided to make a clean break by burning down the house.

Am I missing something here? Don't we (most of the time) like Frank Rich? Except for his non-encyclopedic knowledge of music, of course.
