Bush's Boundless Empathy

And another thing...

Here is the President assuring the suffering he understands their pain:

"I fully understand people wanting things to have happened yesterday," Bush said in a live interview in the Roosevelt Room of the White House with ABC's "Good Morning America" program. "I understand the anxiety of people on the ground. ... So there is frustration. But I want people to know there's a lot of help coming."

Thanks, Mr. President, for reminding us you know what it's like to be forced out of your home, forced out of your city, away from a job, away from friends and family, and most likely in a strange place. Thanks for reminding us you know what it is like to live, if you couldn't get out, in a war zone in which you have been left behind to fend for yourself, with no access to food, water, electricity, or even a toilet, hoping against all hope that help will somehow find its way to you. It makes us all feel better.
