I'm sure no one on the internet(s) will be discussing this...

From the NY Times:

American aviation officials were warned as early as 1998 that Al Qaeda could "seek to hijack a commercial jet and slam it into a U.S. landmark," according to previously secret portions of a report prepared last year by the Sept. 11 commission. The officials also realized months before the Sept. 11 attacks that two of the three airports used in the hijackings had suffered repeated security lapses.

This portion of the 9/11 Commission report had been redacted from the official "9/11 Commission report by the Bush Administration.

Let's see I'm going to have to go through my White House Talking Point Rolodex here for a second...

"Nobody could have foreseen the breaching of the levees there were no WMD's in Iraq the strength of the Iraqi insurgency

Oh yes, here is it...

"Bin Laden flying Airplanes into buildings"

Gee, why would they not want this know to the American people before the election?

And yes, Right-Wing bloggers, because it was 1998, you will naturally attempt to blame this on the Clenis.

Are you now blaming Condeleeza Rice and their deliberate redaction on Clinton too?

Take it away Cap'n Crunch and Ernest T. Bass, ESQ.
