A Master of Analogy

As his past statements about FEMA and his past poor performance during disasters in Massachusetts haunt Romney he certainly went all classy in Ohio yesterday. The man knows the scale of natural disasters...there is no doubt.
Romney’s “relief” event outside of Dayton, Ohio, was surreal enough to be a campaign parody, with the candidate comparing the federal government’s hurricane relief efforts to the time he and some friends had to clean up a football field strewn with “rubbish and paper products.” It was supposed to be a parable of how Republicans handle disaster – with private charity, not government intervention
Yeah, it is just like that. Princeton frat boys better get to work! [cross-posted at Firedoglake]

Reminds me of Confederate Yankee's sad photo of his barbecue grill, as if that's the worst thing that could happen when a hurricane slams you with full force.

Asshole.

We've gotten hit twice in four years, both times by "minimal" hurricanes, but believe me, there's nothing minimal about winds that sound like freight trains and trees snapping like sticks...
