The first comedian-founded atheist church in England is set to hold its first monthly service tomorrow. Pippa Evans (a "musical improv comedian") and Sanderson Jones (just a regular talking comedian) came up with the idea together.

The Sunday Assembly will promptly divide into the warring sects of Meyersism and the Church of Reason.
Hopefully they get tax-exempt status but they're too late for all the really good tax-free, downtown real estate that the Catholics and Protestants snapped up ages ago.
