Holy backfire, Florida Gov. Rick Scott’s attempt to purge the voting roles in Florida is not only wildly unpopular. It is also helping to solidify Obama’s lead in the state...
Scott’s scheme seems to have destroyed any momentum that Mitt Romney was gaining in the Sunshine State. Romney has been able to make up one point on Obama since April. The president has gone from a 50%-45% lead to a 50%-46% lead.

Umm, if Romney's odds have gotten better since April, how does that translate to Scott's actions making things worse for Romney?
If Romney's odds were to improve at the same rate until the election, he'd be nearly tied.
And, if the people queried in those polls were Democrats favorable to Obama who were eliminated from the rolls by this latest purge and could not get back on in time for the election, as seems likely, wouldn't the poll results inaccurately reflect an advantage for Obama?
Scott may well be increasingly unpopular, but an improvement in Romney's voter preference polling is not evidence that he's doing worse.
mitt is the nominee. rally the faithful.
