TP: Is that why you’re going to the Chamber of Commerce which opposed your campaign finance bill?
MCCAIN: I’m at the Chamber of Commerce because I love the Chamber of Commerce! They love business. I hope you’ll get involved in it too.
TP: They helped kill McCain-Feingold.
MCCAIN: They’re really wonderful people.
Yes, wonderful people -- very few Hispanics too, right Flyboy?

It was, after all, to the Chamber of Commerce that Lewis Powell delivered his famous "manifesto" in 1971, laying out the process by which right-wing plutocrats could steer public opinion and the political conversation back to supporting more war, more consumption, more planned obsolescence, more junk, lower taxes and higher profits for the plutocrats, thus protecting "The American Way of Life."
And who could ever accuse John McCain, the guy who singlehandedly kept the military-industrial complex profitable by crashing Navy planes, the guy who was from the day he walked into Congress in the pocket of a real estate swindler, the guy who dumped his wife for a beer heiress, of being against The American Way of Life?
til mccant has no more friends.
a pox on the C of C.
If the price is right, the stakes high enough, honor can be a tradeable commodity--in Az at least. Vox
McCain proved himself a douche when he cheated on his first wife with that reptillian creature he is currently married to.
