What's going on?

America, eff yeah!

I know the country is still enmeshed in what the blogosphere's self-proclaimed cool kids call the most important issue of the week, maybe ever. Whether a beauty contest winning person of muslim background can pose in a bikini and/or work the pole and yet still be accused of being a Islamo-fascist terrorist promised 71 men who don't know what their doing besides Donald Trump?

But today is a big primary day -- perhaps you've heard -- in Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and Arkansas amongst others. It's a big day for progressive challengers in two of those.

Meanwhile, in Kentucky, Rand Paul, likely to win the GOP primary was being interviewed but this question could not be answered:

Q: Do you think Americans, based on the 2nd Amendment, do you think they have a Constitutional right to violently overthrow the government?

PAUL STAFFER: Alright, we’ll have to stop recording.

He couldn't squeeze out a "no" on that one?

Ah, well, Rand Paul is entitled to his constituency--even if that constituency is predominantly composed of fat fucks with guns in store-bought camo.

But, I don't think Rand Paul is going to be leading them in the charge against the government. He's going to disappoint them, too.

They want someone who will give them armbands and boots. And ammunition.

I really didn't figure that a tea party love object would actually get elected anywhere, but I am apparently wrong.

The next bit of fun will be the inevitable cries of "traitor!" a la Scott Brown when Rand doesn't toe the tea bagger line, which is bound to happen at some point. However, of any of them, he seems the most likely to be ideologically pure. Aryan, as it were.

Does "keep and bear arms" within the context of a well-regulated militia give Goober, Gomer and Cooter the right to (attempt to) overthrow the Constitutionally elected government?

Well, that is a toughie.
