The British are celebrating their current recession by celebrating the 60th anniversary of her dad dying the Queen's ascension to the throne.
And to think, my money was on Renly Barratheon.
Can't see the video, but as it happens I'm in London right now, and have been amongst the celebrations. There is genuine affection for the queen which strikes me, as both an Anerican and a very non-authoritarian type, as nothing short of bizarre.
